Job Summary
Position: General Workers Construction Sector

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Salary: Depending on your experience. Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- Site Cleaning and Maintenance – Keeping the construction site clean, removing waste and tidying up work equipment.
- Material Loading and Unloading – Carrying and moving construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Physical Labor – Installing glass windows and metal frames with BoomLift.
- Safety Compliance – Wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safety protocols. Allows Wearing Safety Harness when working at heights.
- Handling Tools and Equipment – Proper use of tools and machinery used in the work will be explained to you during training.
- Support to workers and supervisors – Working as directed by skilled workers or engineers. Completing work on time.
- Overall site support – Collaborating with others on site on various tasks (concrete mixing, formwork support, painting window frames, etc. related work).
- Storage management – Keeping goods properly organized in the store and keeping a written record of who has taken which goods.
- Equipment operation support – Assisting heavy machinery operators. For example, working as a helper with a welder from time to time (if necessary).
- Knowing emergency protocols – Following guidelines correctly in the event of an accident or emergency and moving to a safe location.
Eligibility & Requirements
- There must be a window period or transfer. The worker must be a citizen of India, Bangladesh or Myanmar.
Previous experience working in Singapore will be given priority.
For new workers, the basic salary may be less than 22$ to 25$.
Must be under 35 years of age - Construction companies in Singapore generally prefer young and physically fit workers.
Most companies hire workers between the ages of 24-35. - Experience or interest in glass, aluminum and metal work
This position will mainly involve work related to glass fitting, aluminum fabrication, stainless steel.
If you have previous experience of such work in the factory or construction sector, then your chances are high. - Physically fit and able to work hard
Ability to carry heavy objects on construction sites, stand for long periods of time, and work in hot weather.
This job is not suitable for those with any physical ailments (knee/back pain, heart problems, etc.). - Basic knowledge of safety rules
Workplace safety is very important in Singapore.
PPE (helmet, safety boots, gloves, goggles) must be used.
BCA (Building and Construction Authority) and MOM (Ministry of Manpower) rules must be followed. - BCA-approved training
BCA-approved courses such as CSOC (Safety Orientation Course) are mandatory for work in the construction sector.
If you have training in scaffolding, rigging, boom lift, welding, then it will be an advantage. - Previous experience in construction is preferred
If you have already worked in construction in Singapore/Malaysia/Middle East, then the chances of getting hired are high.
It is good to have general knowledge about plumbing, window installation, electrical or civil work. - Teamwork and ability to follow instructions
In Singapore, you have to work according to the instructions of your supervisor, foreman or engineer.
Arguments or indiscipline are frowned upon, so you have to work with patience and manners. - Basic knowledge of English or Mandarin (an added advantage)
In Singapore, a general knowledge of English or Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
However, it is not mandatory, as most construction workers can be communicated with in Bengali/Hindi/Tamil. - Submission of a medical fitness certificate is mandatory
To work in the construction sector in Singapore, you will need to undergo a MOM-approved medical checkup.
People with TB (tuberculosis), HIV, Hepatitis B and heart/lung problems are not allowed to work.

Overtime Opportunity: Overtime will be paid at the rate of 1.5 hours for additional work after the standard 8 hours.
