Job Summary

Position: Class 3 Driver in Construction Sector
Agency: A & S RECRUITMENT AGENCY PTE. LTD.
Location: Singapore
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Salary: Salary: SGD 1,800–2,500 (based on experience) + OT.  Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Eligible for Work Permit (WP) holders. S Pass depends on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport of workers
   To drive a class 3 lorry to transport workers safely and on time between the driver’s hostel and the work site.
2. Supply of construction materials
   Deliver tents, furniture and other construction materials to the specified work site. It should be ensured that the materials arrive on time and safely.
3. Maintenance of the vehicle
   Perform regular check-ups of the lorry and report any mechanical problems immediately.
4. Follow safety rules
   Avoid accidents by following road safety and company rules correctly.
5. Do not use a mobile phone while driving.
   Drive with full attention, avoiding mobile phones or any other distractions while driving.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
   Keep the lorry clean at all times, so that the transport facility is professional and hygienic.
7. Provide general assistance
   If not responsible for driving, help with loading and unloading of goods or other tasks at the construction site.
8. Adhere to company vehicle usage policy
   Company vehicles may only be used for company business. Refrain from using for personal purposes.
9. Punctuality and Reliability
   Be on time and ready for assigned shifts. So that employees can get to work on time.
10. Emergency Reporting
    Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other emergencies to your immediate supervisor.

Eligibility & Requirements

1. Class 3 driving experience in Singapore.
   Must have at least 2 years of experience driving a Class 3 vehicle in Singapore.
2. Willingness to assist in general tasks in addition to driving.
   When driving is not required, be ready to assist in other general tasks at the construction site or in the office.
3. Valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore.
   Must have an active and valid Class 3 driving license.
4. Have proper knowledge of Singapore traffic laws and safety.
   Must have clear knowledge of Singapore road safety laws, traffic signals and driving rules.
5. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
   Able to work in a team with colleagues and supervisors. Instructions given by the company must be followed correctly.
6. Always follow safety precautions
   To ensure maximum safety during work, helmets, safety boots and other protective equipment must be used.
7. Core Trade Skill Certificate (Plus Points).
   If you have a Core Trade Skill Certificate (CoreTrade / CTS), it will be considered as an additional benefit. For example, salary will be increased.
8. Ability to work in a team environment.
   Must have the mentality of being able to work together with people from different backgrounds.
9. Physically fit and able to work hard.
   Must be able to lift, lower and do other physical work on construction sites.
10. Punctuality and responsible behavior.
    Must have a sense of responsibility for regular and timely attendance, vehicle maintenance and compliance with company policies.
