We are currently working on the Yelp.Inc platform. We need a few Freelancers to work here. This is a good opportunity especially for those who are proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Review Moderation
  You will check 80-100 reviews per hour. Remove immediately if there is spam, abuse, fake ratings, or pornographic content.
• Image and video check
  Restaurant images, store videos – check everything against community guidelines. Block irrelevant/inappropriate content.
• User report handling
  Review within 15 minutes if someone reports, send email/notification to the user.
• Community guideline updates
  Meet with the team once a week – decide which type of content needs to be checked more strictly.
• Report generation
  Daily moderation data entered into Google Sheets. Weekly report sent to team leader.
• Tool usage
  Our custom dashboard + AI-assisted flagging tool. 200+ auto-flagged content reviews per day.

Qualifications

• Language Skills
  I am fluent in English. You should be able to tell which reviews are real and which are fake by reading them.
• Experience
  At least 1 year in any moderation/customer support/social media role. If you are a fresher – 6 months internship is acceptable.
• Tech Skills
  Google Workspace, MS Office, Slack – be able to work quickly on these.
• Mindset
  Patience, impartiality, and the ability to make quick decisions. Sometimes you will have to look at difficult content (e.g. threats, harassment).
• Education
  Bachelor’s degree in any subject. Computer Science/English/ preferred.
